Live Your Truth

Berkeley Haas values an open and inclusive environment. We hope that this culture will allow you to feel comfortable showing up to Haas as your full self every day, whether as a member of our vibrant LGBTQ+ student community, or in our active ally culture

At Haas, openness and genuine interest in understanding one another encourages LGBTQ students to share their stories, leading to greater understanding and support of LGBTQ issues at Haas and across the UC Berkeley campus.

Berkeley's location in the San Francisco Bay Area—the world's epicenter of LGBTQ activity and social rights movements—enables students to get involved in LGBTQ activities not just within Haas, but also within the larger community.

Our students also get to hear directly from faculty thought leaders at Haas and across the UC Berkeley campus who are conducting the latest research on LGBTQ issues. Since 2017, the Center for Equity, Gender, and Leadership has been educating equity fluent leaders to ignite change.
