The Haas School offers concurrent degree programs in areas of special interest to business professionals. Earning a dual degree offers Berkeley MBA graduates new levels of flexibility and proficiency for unique career opportunities both in the United States and abroad.
The JD/MBA program provides you with a solid foundation in both law and management. Upon completion of this four-year program, you earn:
Typically, you spend your first two years in law school and your third year in business school. During your fourth year, you take elective courses in both schools.
Berkeley Haas and the UC Berkeley School of Public Health work in partnership to train leaders in the complex field of health management. In the 2.5-year MBA/MPH program, you'll earn both an MBA and an MPH in Health Policy and Management.
To complete the program, you must complete 80 units of required and elective coursework (45 MBA, 32 MPH, and 3 from any graduate program at UC Berkeley), including at least one summer internship. The program prepares you for senior positions in health-related industries, including care delivery, insurance, biotech, consulting, pharmaceuticals, and social impact. Students in this program are eligible to study abroad as part of the Haas Exchange Program during their 5th semester.
To apply for the MBA/MPH program, you must complete the Berkeley full-time MBA application and select the concurrent degree program. The School of Public Health does not require a separate application. The tuition and fees for each semester of the MBA/MPH program are the same as for each semester of the full-time MBA program.
