Full-time MBA Program Profile

International Students

International students are eligible for Haas Merit Scholarships and Haas Achievement Awards, both of which pay up to full tuition and fees for both years of MBA study. Please note, however, that only a small number of students are chosen for these, and the only other available aid is in the form of private student loans.

Beginning with the 2006-07 academic year, the Haas School of Business is pleased to offer three different loan programs for International Students. All three programs are available without the use of a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident as a co-signer; however, using a co-signer could secure you better terms on the loan. Further information is available at http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/MBA/finaid/prvtmba.htm.

Most international students will be responsible for paying the entire cost of attendance for both years of study, and should plan carefully to ensure adequate financial resources.

“As an international student, I’ve found Haas to have quite an international environment and orientation. Professors don’t just focus on US events but also cover events and trends in other countries as well.”
