Diversity is a key strength of the Berkeley MBA program. About a third of the students are from outside the United States, representing more than 40 countries from around the globe. Students from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, and sexual orientations are an important part of Haas' diversity. The school's Standing Committee on Diversity at Haas ensures that Haas fosters a welcoming environment for students from all backgrounds. The deliberate diversity of the Berkeley MBA program has the critical purpose of mirroring the global makeup of today's business world.
We invite you to attend a series of Diversity Workshops at the Haas School. We also participate in many admissions events with partner organizations such as Forté Foundation, Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM), National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), Riordan MBA Fellows, and Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT).
