Employment Gap Initiative

The Berkeley Haas Full-time MBA program is committed to a series of Defining Leadership Principles, among them a core philosophy of going beyond yourself. We realize the recent layoffs have had significant impact right here in our own backyard, so we have chosen to support our community -- and communities beyond the Bay Area -- by offering prospective candidates who have been laid off in the last 6 months, regardless of industry or location, an application fee waiver and more time to prepare to ensure that their applications can be successful.

If you were laid off in the last 12 months, you can request a fee waiver and submit your Full-time MBA  application up until our spring submission deadline of April 6, 2023.

As you prepare to take the next step, our Application Prep webinar recordings can serve as a helpful resource.
