Tracy Cheung says that "At Haas, no one is willing to get ahead at another's expense. Students are always willing to help others. We believe in ourselves, but we believe in each other too and want to see each of us achieve our dreams."
Cheung's dream is to work for a nonprofit organization that partners with for-profit enterprises to improve the environment. Energy—in particular the potential of alternative energy sources—fuels Cheung's career goals. Her role on the leadership team of the Berkeley Energy and Resource Collaborative (BERC) exposed her to the latest thinking in the field and often intersected with her work for the Net Impact Club, which is dedicated to "changing the world through business," Cheung explains.
"The faculty, the courses, and my classmates at Haas gave me confidence and made me feel sure of my path."
