Diversity Workshops
Diversity is a key strength of the Berkeley MBA program. Our students, who come from a variety of backgrounds, are an important part of the vibrant Haas community and reflect the makeup of today's business world.
Thank you to those of you who attended our 2012 series of Diversity Workshops held at the Haas School of Business!

“Berkeley's on-campus LGBT Admissions Workshop was a unique outreach event not matched by other schools to which I applied. Speaking with current students and faculty gave me a great perspective of what it would be like to be at Haas - both as a student and as a member of the LGBT community. Perhaps the most valuable aspect of the LGBT Admissions Workshop was that it allowed me to assess my ‘fit’ with Haas. By the end of the day, I knew where I belonged.” – Gene Boyle, MBA 2012
"The Women's Workshop provided me with an excellent opportunity to meet both current students and prospective classmates. As an Evening and Weekend MBA candidate, I was excited to meet several women managing challenging careers and maintaining commitments to family all while pursuing a graduate degree. I was very encouraged to see that such a work, school, life balance was possible at Haas.”
– Kristen Botill, EWMBA 2013
“At the Diversity Workshop, I was impressed by the value that Haas faculty, students, and alumni place on individuals of unique backgrounds. Interacting with these folks for a day, I felt the environment of true collaboration and knew that Haas would help me fulfill my highest potential.”
-Jarom Feriante, MBA 2012
