The Women in Leadership (WIL) club serves the Berkeley-Haas community through a series of professional, educational, and social events designed to enhance the understanding and appreciation of women's roles in business while equipping WIL members to achieve success.
For nearly 20 years, the Women in Leadership Conference at Haas has been bringing together more than 400 women and men annually to connect and learn from each other, and to develop the skills that help women advance their paths to leadership.
WIL is also actively involved in leading the Women's Workshop at the Diversity Symposium, and offers regular social events including an annual retreat for Haas students and partners.
The Gender Equity Initiative at Haas was formed by a group of students who wanted to take action to achieve gender parity at Berkeley-Haas. Within the first year, the group produced outstanding results through collaboration among students, staff, and alumni, and through research and analysis with leading faculty.
The ultimate goal is for Berkeley-Haas to lead the top business schools in increasing female representation in management positions by developing leaders with the experience, skills, and understanding to drive gender equity.
