By Air: Travelers to the San Francisco Bay Area may fly into either Oakland or San Francisco.
Directly from Oakland or the San Francisco airport, you can take a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train to the Downtown Berkeley station next to campus.
By Train: BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
From either airport, San Francisco or other points west or south of Berkeley, take a Richmond-bound BART train to the Downtown Berkeley station. See a map and Quickplanner for more information.
From the BART station, it's a 20-minute (uphill) walk to Haas; you can also take the “P” or “R” campus shuttle bus (closest stop is at Scandinavian Designs, at Shattuck and Addison). Ask to be dropped off at the Haas School of Business. Fare is $1 .
By Bus:
AC Transit AC Transit bus service provides transportation for commuters to and from San Francisco and throughout Alameda and western Contra Costa County. There are several AC bus lines that come near the campus area.
Parking on the UC Berkeley Campus is extremely challenging. Public transportation is highly recommended. Permit parking is not available to prospective MBA student visitors. The closest public parking garage is the Telegraph Channing Garage (formerly the Sather Gate Garage) located on Durant between Dana and Telegraph (south side of campus). Enter from Channing Way or Durant Ave.
