Vasiliy Zhulin entered Haas knowing he wanted to move away from technology, but didn't know exactly where he wanted to end up. The information sessions organized by the Career Center introduced him to a wealth of possibilities. It wasn't long before he found himself gravitating to finance, specifically investment banking, as the gateway to his new career.

"Putting together the Finance Club's 2008 Wall Street Trek honed my leadership skills. And once we were in New York City, I was impressed by the welcome we received. It was a great opportunity to see the real Wall Street work environment and get a feel for the sort of jobs available. We visited lots of banks, heard interesting presentations and had lots of opportunities to network."

"Taking an elective in Corporate Finance right before my summer internship was very helpful. And writing a business plan for my Behavioral Finance class was an excellent way to bridge the gap between finance theory and the practical application of those concepts."

"The Haas finance faculty has a lot of experience. It was really cool to listen to and share ideas with people who have held positions of influence in the industry."
